Shimaliya Agnihotri

Shimaliya has been a long time performer in the Washington DC area, in the arena of Dance and Theater. Her interest in Kathak began in New Delhi, at the Sri Ram Bhartiya Kala Kendra. She continued her learning dance with Lasya Academy. In addition to dance, Shimaliya does theater in the DC area. She is a actor and has given powerful performances under the direction of her father. Shimaliya is a graduate of George Mason Uninversity and is a teacher with the Fairfax County Public Schools by profession.
